I can't help but feel that my body is being seized by the government as if it's a piece of land that they need to build a highway. Isn't my body my personal property? Why are they trying to take it over? For the greater good?
I think the same could be said of the medical profession. Isn't the MD behind a name personal property? Didn't they earn that education through hard work, sacrifice and intelligence? How can the government seize that property for their own use?
Roe v Wade got government out of the decision making process regarding a woman's body. Why isn't that a precedent used supporting free market healthcare?
I want to choose for myself how to care for my body.
